Product Design

We design domestic items for meals, mornings, mindfulness, and more, inviting you to pause for a moment of joy during your daily routines. We believe that by incorporating a built-in pick-me-up into your routines, you can begin to find other silver linings and live brighter days. Whether you're seeking a moment of joy in your own home or want to infuse your ideas with mindful philosophy and meticulous craftsmanship, Dacha Co helps you hone in on happiness.
TILT
The idea came about serendipitously when browsing kitchen decor online. Post modernist bold gestures and use of material in DESU Design's 1-Line Spice Rack were striking. On the hunt for a similar gesture, Tilt was born. A hardware free design showcases the natural splendor of the material. With an 8 degree angle on the base where spice bottles sit, gravity moves them down as if they were children on a playground slide.
APSE
The universal nature of Legos was the driving force behind this ceramic brick. The goal was a 'real-life' architectural-sized Lego that brings a feeling of play into the domestic space. The choice to use a ceramic slip casting workflow shows off the streamlined form in a lightweight package.With its' angles, arches, and hexagonal base and feet, Apse can be arranged any way you please. It is a multipurpose modular brick for use in backsplashes, room dividers, furniture, decorative arrangements, and more.
Design Photography
We believe that it's never just a lamp, or the facade, or the painting. It's all about the emotion and mood that lighting can product, it's the welcoming face that visitors are greeted by, or it's the brushstrokes that leave a fingerprint of intensity in the paint. We bring that same level of storytelling to your work. All images you see here on our site are done in house.
PRODUCT
Product photography can invite customers to imagine your product in their homes and routines, or it can hone in on the craftsmanship of your skill, it can even tell a story of how a design came to be. We have been working with small businesses, Etsy creatives, and artists who want to show off their craft without any photographic distractions.
The lighting and color choices for this shoot were inspired by the materials themselves, with golden cream tones in the clay and lavender bands in the glaze.
This shoot was for an Etsy jeweler who creates dainty, landscape inspired work. Flower buds reflect the character of stacked beads, are a nod to nature, and work as a display stand to show off the way the jewelry would hang off your ears.

Our style ranges from clean and straightforward representations of a space, to detailed stories that tell a personal tale of what home is.
ARCHITECTURAL
We strive to juxtapose the bold forms in a structure while breaking down the collection of fragments that creates a building.
